Mr. Martin’s practice areas include labor and employment, workers' compensation and occupational disease and insurance and general liability defense. His practice primarily focuses on defending employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including claims for workers’ compensation and retaliatory discharge.  In addition, Mr. Martin has represented corporate clients in a variety of general liability matters, including premises liability claims and wrongful death claims.  Mr. Martin has recent experience representing clients in claims arising under the Alabama Medical Liability Act.  Mr. Martin has been asked to speak at seminars on various topics, including most recently on the Alabama Workers' Compensation Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”).
